I've had someone approach me asking me to publish a guest blog post on my site. The content already exists on their own site, so I'm guessing the main benefit they expect is back-link SEO juice. The offered to promote my content in exchange.
I have published the post and shared on social media, and all they seem to have done is tweet the post along with my twitter handle. I'm hoping they will do more, maybe providing a back link to my site, for example.
They are offering to send me more articles. I'm wondering what the potential advantages/disadvantages of publishing them could be? It's nice to have ready made content for my blog, but I'm worried about potential downsides. Also, would there be any advantage in having my content on their site?
Any advice much appreciated.
