Hi all, first post here.
AI labs have already read the public internet. What they can't get from it is how real companies operate: SOPs, approvals, how exceptions get handled, how a project moved from start to finish. So some of them now license this kind of data from regular businesses, not just tech companies.
What caught my attention:
- It's about workflow data, meaning records of how work gets done.
- It's a license, not a sale of the company's records.
- The company decides which data it licenses, and agrees how customer and other sensitive details get removed before anything moves.
- The agreement and the data transfer are directly between the company and the buyer.
I'm working with DataSupply.ai, which makes these introductions. They look for companies with 20+ desk staff and 3+ years of records. There's no upfront cost, and they charge a success fee if a deal closes. Nothing is guaranteed: the buyer decides if there's a fit and sets the terms, and you should have your own lawyer review any agreement.
Here's a redacted example DataSupply sent me. It's an offer, not a closed deal, and it doesn't predict what another company would get.

Disclosure: I'm a paid referral partner and the links below are my referral links.
If you own a company that fits and want to look into licensing its data:

If you'd rather be an affiliate and refer companies, for a 20% commission on deals that close (full terms are in the partner agreement):

Curious what people here think. Would you license this kind of data from your business? What would worry you?
