My wife wants to spend a few days in Vegas at the end of June for her 30th birthday. What's the best place to get the cheapest hotel and flight package these days? Any help would be much appreciated.

You can literally get hotels for $39/ night or less in Vegas on most sites. But for decent places on the strip, I've been using agoda.com lately and it seems to be the cheapest and then booking my flight separately. Kayak, southwest have good packages I believe.

I highly reccomend airbnb.com for renting condos, houses, etc. I have used it a couple times.
Last summer on July 4th, I was able to snag a 2 bed condo with an ocean view, literally on the street facing the water, in Long Beach California. That 7 day trip cost me $500. :)

As for hotels in Vegas, I found the hotel I will be staying at on spring break, on Vegas.com which I thought showed me the best available prices. Some hotels on there were considerably lower than the hotels website ($100 savings per night).

Hope that helps

Hi, during the month of june here in vegas you'll be able to find amazing deals everywhere. You could even find deals for as low as 25 dollars sometimes depending where you want to stay at. Once you do get checked in, be nice to the folks at hotel registration. Tell them your here on special occasion with the wife and ask if they can hook you up with any upgrades with a view :) I did front service for 5 years in vegas. Hope this help.
