I'm re-working one of my websites for 2011 and wondering if I should design a capture page or keep my current blog page.

Here's some info.

1. Its an information site, with free info and a paid membership. I currently am not selling products though eventually will sell books and how to CD's.

2. There are ads/ affiliate links. If I made a front page I could hide them, and once u enter the site i could have the ads near the content.

3. There's a forum and a chat room
