Hows it going everyone?
After browsing through this great forum for a year, I've decided to join the community.
Anyway, theres two valuable success stories on the Fastlane forum that seemed to have disappeared? 😕
They're both about investing in apartment complexes.
- The first success story involves a gentleman who was a manager for some company. He had a serious conversation with one of his subordinates about their performance, but the employee said something like, "I don't need this job, I own apartment complexes". Intrigued, the manager purchased a book on "How to Buy Apartments" and began to make plans on becoming a landlord. Somehow he had saved enough money for a down payment and purchased his very own complex... thats all I remember.
- The second success story involves a man who had bad credit and little funds in the beginning. He was hired by two landlords to go knock on doors and ask if any apartment complexes were for sale. Some how the landlords that hired him gave him an apartment complex. He used his old truck to move new tenants into their units, and even made barbecue for open houses. He eventually bought other apartments around the local market and raised the value.
He went on to say how happy he was to purchase his father a luxury vehicle for the very first time.
Does anybody else remember these two stories? If you do, can you post links to them?
Your help will very much be appreciated.
