Building a site like Vistaprint

For the last few months I’ve been thinking about building a site that’s similar to www.Vistaprint.com but about 1/5 of the size. On the site I’d like to add an area where prospects can enter standard and custom diagrams of projects they’d like quoted, which would then be faxed to (hopefully) a list of numbers.

Is this the type of project I can get off of the ground by just going through “The Challenge†and then doing it myself?

Or,

would I be better off to have someone build it for me?
