Hey all! Just wondering the best platform to host my niche e commerce site, i've looked over a few options and wordpress making it myself or shoplify both look like good options. Not a huge fan of shoplify taking a percentadge of my sales though. Wordpress seems to have a lot of complaints about secruity issues for online payments? If i could get some input from someone who has had experience in this field that'd be great. The site would have hundreds of pages of products as well and only have product; no blog or anything is included besides links to social media pages.

Wordpress and woocommerce. You can be up in an hour. And it's free. Get going. And HUNDREDS of pages of products?

Yeah my niche's products range from $4.99-$1499.99 roughly but there is a lot of different product. I'll look into woocommerce. Can you give me some upside to that over other sites?

Okay so here's where I'm at. I found that bigcommerce was the best to host my site. The only thing is hosting is $79.99. My boss wants to just pay me per product uploaded or by the hr and I don't think it'll be worth it without a percentage base of the profits especially if I'm paying that $79.99 out of pocket. What do you guys think?

Or I switch to a different hosting platform that's free but like I said I don't think it's worth it without a percentage return.

Why would you pay out of pocket if it's your bosses website?.....

You are asking questions that can be easily googled or searched on this site.

I would highly recommend Shopify, their basic plan starts at only $29.99 I believe and is the best Ecommerce platform out there.
