I managed a store on robson for several years and the rent was $20 000/month +
For a tiny space. Anything a decent size wouldn't work. and new fashion stores need to be on popular streets in Vancouver to have any success. So that's the price.

Ah hello vancouverite! Have u checked out Metrotown? The grand courts inside the mall maybe you could check that out, not sure what they cost to rent but so much foot traffic there, you should study Lulululemon a bit, few months ago they had a lotta beach yoga event and had a ton of people show up for that, later at the end they pitched they’re store locations , genius marketing . Lease a store front inside metro town my? Not sure of prices

Wordpress + WooCommerce is always a win. ^_^ You can spend as little as ~$40/year for hosting and domain if you know how to do it. But then again, Magento might be your fit if you have high inventory. WooCommerce might be good for small to medium businesses. Otherwise, you need something that's more Enterprise.

As for traffic, you know--SEO, ads, and marketing. Target the right people, blah, blah, blah. The right marketing will dictate your traffic. More traffic = more sales. Can you not use your previous testimonials from clients to your new store?
