In times like these, people like us are beacons of knowledge to our friends, our family, and our communities. My brother in law came over yesterday stressing about how his family is going to survive all this. He is a barber/hair guy by trade. The thought never occurred to him to take this opportunity to become a mobile entrepreneur. He left pretty excited after I spewed an hours worth of information and great ideas.
And then I spoke to a pastor friend that is a mortgage broker and helps me buy my properties. He also wasn't sure how his church is going to survive since they may need to close the doors to observe social distancing. This is where I chimed in and suggested that he start running tent revivals/church either out in the parking lot, or negotiate with the high school across the street. Being outdoors is a natural disinfectant since there are no surfaces, and really no enclosed spaces, and plenty of fresh air. His attitude lit up really quickly after his light came on.
Take the time to help those around you. Stop spending so much time on the doom and gloom aspect of the current events. There are way too many critical thinkers and innovators to just simply roll over and take the Wuhan beating. We are in this online community because we are......different.
