I'm pondering on the idea of making an app that would better assist the needs of others, but being this is my first time making an app (studied the coding and details/structure), I'm wondering the legality and marketing side of things.

Furthermore, the app has to do with the marijuana industry (not a smoker, just believe there's a need). Andrew informed me that the law is pretty stiff promoting weed for advertisers, but I'm wondering would the same be the case with this app?

Before spending tons of money to develop it, only for Apple or Google to remove or reject it because it "violates their tos". Is there a way I can softest or find out if it it's accepted? I have keynotpia so I definitely could build a rough UI clickable model to run through.

Thanks in advance!

I think you’ll be fine. I just typed “marijuana app” in the App Store and 10+ apps related showed up.

Read the guidelines before submitting, but picking a category like ‘health’ or ‘medical’ should be fine.

@BrooklynHustle could share some insight on this.
