I am writing a how to book in the travel genre. I see the potential for another source of income through adding a few affiliate links through out the book. ('m not referring to Amazon associate links to other books) (I also do not mean clickbank products) My affiliate links would be to products on amazon and or various web services (travel visa broker sites, maybe hotel brokers)

Does amazon frown upon this? It seems like a grey area. Googling this brings about mostly conflicting answers.

Has anyone experimented with this?
