Hey my name is Ahmed and I am 19.5 years old. I got interested in finance because I realized the power and freedom being wealthy will provide me.
I read the millionaire fastlane because I always knew there was a faster way to become wealthy.
I joined the fastlane forum because I wanted to be surrounded by like-minded people and by people who can pull me up and help me on my way to become wealthy.
My ambitions for the future is to become an expert in a skill that makes me wealthy and fulfilled, to become one of the best in it. This skill will probably be entrepreneurship in either fintech or internet technologies.
My strong points are the following: 1. I am smart (I was frequently a top 5 student in school out of a 100 in school.) 2. I know how to obsess. I do that in my studying. 3. I love learning. 4. I am creative and have no box to think in. 5. I have the support of my family to get my bachelors degree and my masters degree + a financial boost early in life. 6. I have time and energy as I am still relatively young. 7. I am fluent in browsing and using the internet. 8. My parents live in Qatar which is a wealthy country. 9. I am bilingual: Arabic and English.
My weak points: 1. I am indecisive. I take a long time to take decisions and hesitate a lot. 2. I am influenced by other people's energies and thoughts. 3. I am currently dependent on my family. 4. I have relatively very little business experience. 5. My Egyptian citizenship might be considered a disadvantage in relation to Americans. 6. My speaking English is not fluent.
I also overcame the depression I experienced through out the last year. I think this might be a disadvantage.
I want to use my money to fund causes I believe in, such as longevity research.
