Hey guys, I've been looking into starting an affiliate program. I'm still a good way off having a full-fledged, top affiliate program because my offer is new and I'm only a couple months into it. However, I think that I still might be able to benefit from an affiliate program as long I can get affiliates to promote my offer. Of course, that's the hard part - as a former affiliate myself, you want to promote the #1 offer and you want to promote proven offers with the highest EPC's and conversion rates.
Anyway, I was looking into running my offer through an affiliate network (I was looking at neverblue ads to be specific) because they already have a ton of affiliates working with them. Still, with my experience as an affiliate, that doesn't mean that you're going to get affiliates promoting your offer. But, that kind of works out in my favor because I can't afford to pay for 20+ leads every day anyway (yet!).
Does anyone have any experience using an affiliate network (as an advertiser, not an affiliate) that you could share? Do they require a big deposit up front? Affiliate marketing has a reputation for being a shady industry, did you have any negative experiences? Did you get good results?
