hi!
let me tell you a bit about myself.. i worked in finance (bear stearns and then jp morgan) for the first four years after college. after realizing that i was completely miserable, and no new job in the financial industry was going to make me happy, i started pursuing a masters degree in nutrition to become a registered dietitian. i am about half way done with my degree.
this past summer i had what i think is a great idea for a fashion website (not related to nutrition or finance at all!), i shared the idea with some of my closest friends and family members, and they all agreed that i should pursue it.
the problem is, i have zero idea where to start. the idea is pretty tech heavy, something that i would never in a million years be able to develop myself. basically all i've done since having the idea is buy the domain name, write a summary, and sketch out my (very basic) ideas of what i think the site should look like.
i'm completely stuck! do i reach out to people i know who may want to invest? do i look for outside funding? again, i would love to see my idea become a reality, as i know it's something myself and many people i know would use on a daily basis. it's something that i can't believe has not already been created.
i am totally lost! any guidance you guys could provide would be greatly appreciated.
