Want to learn from my mistakes? I may be new here, but I mastermind with some of the most respected members on this forum.
They finally convinced me to join up and I wanted to share something....
If you've spent any time in online marketing or affiliate marketing circles, know this: everyday you will be assaulted (literally with ad retargeting) by "business opportunities" offers. How do you evaluate them?
One of the biggest 'aha' moments from reading this book is this. While I had done quite well in affiliate marketing with the first part of the wealth equation "Net" income - the other half "Asset Value" alluded me.
And it will allude you too if you pursue traditional affiliate marketing (selling a product you don't CONTROL+OWN).
One of the best lines of the book - themes rather - aside from chasing needs vs. value is this line:
I know affiliates that make $1,000,000 a year. But guess what? Will their "affiliate businesses" ever lead to a liquidation event (see list below). The answer is no. Big mistake I made. And the biggest paradigm shift ever.
The other one is that most of us top affiliates chased 'fads' and what offers were 'hot' vs. evergreen vs what I call "P.N.P.s" - Pains, Needs, Problems.
In the book the study of pentamillionaires is very telling (most people at that wealth level got their through a liquidation event not salaries earned).
So with that said, avoid all the rubbish thrown your way about "building passive income streams" - mini-sites, autoblogs, 4 or 5 winning campaigns, the list goes on.
Passive income streams come in bulk AFTER asset value creation + liquidation not BEFORE.
I have looked at ^^ from so many different angles I could prolly write a book myself! However, I was just preparing to mindmap some stuff from the book (eventually) and thought "why not share".

- Does it lead to wealth (Net Income + Asset Value)?
- Can it be made Fastlane?
- Can it hit Effection?
- Can your road route to a multimillion-dollar enterprise?
- Can it generate passive income
- Can it end at a final liquidation event?
Anyways had a similar shift in thinking?
