The bankruptcy protection alone is worth putting money into a 401(k), especially if you have your own company and can choose which provider to use and what investment choices you have.

It's nice knowing that even if everything goes completely to hell for me financially, and I have to go through bankruptcy, my 401(k) will remain intact and I can at least feed myself afterwards.
