Project context:

I launched my Spanish-language YouTube channel in September 2025, so it's only about 10 months old. The channel is simultaneously trust infrastructure for a broader ecosystem and a multi-stream monetization vehicle. It serves several functions at once: personal cognitive enrichment (I learn a lot interviewing people who know their field), network expansion (I meet valuable people I wouldn't otherwise cross paths with), source material and inspiration for books I'm writing, a creative outlet that satisfies a personal need, and direct monetization via AdSense, sponsorships, affiliates, and funnels toward my own info-products.

The channel sits at the intersection of extreme personal development, esoteric sexuality and transmutation, biohacking and radical health, hyperdimensional reality and critique of the control system (arcontic, and its political, religious and cultural layers), individual sovereignty and financial freedom. 100% libertarian spirit, enlightenment through reason, constant exploration of new cognitive horizons.

Current channel numbers (a days ago, not updated):
  • 4,679 subscribers
  • 41,900 views in the last 28 days (uptrend)
  • 7,000 watch-time hours in the last month (21× the YPP annual threshold)
  • Viral outlier at 41K views, another at 8K
  • Median views per episode: 15-30
  • 58,935 total lifetime views
Per-video monetization structure (active and in development):

A) Direct YouTube monetization. Pay per views via AdSense, livestreams with Super Chats/Super Thanks for answering audience questions, Channel Members with access to exclusive content. This is the pillar currently blocked by the YPP rejection, and what this thread is about.

B) Each video's description as a funnel. Top block with links to my coaching site and upcoming exclusive-content membership (individual course sales), link to my Patreon blog, free-donation link, and my own info-products as they get published.

C) Sponsorships. Current priority focus. Active, constant outreach. Yesterday I sent 20 outreach emails, got several replies, negotiating with a few. If I can get each video to generate hundreds of euros in sponsorship, it's a powerful model because I enjoy making the interviews and educational videos — getting paid to do what I'd do anyway is ideal.

D) Affiliates. Building a shop page on the site with recommended products (books, biohacking gear, etc.), mostly via Amazon with low commissions but evergreen and low-maintenance. In parallel I'm researching serious affiliate programs of the "fixed payout per qualified lead" type to integrate where it fits.

Other ecosystem pillars:
  • 1-on-1 coaching (Stripe + Calendly). Advertised in descriptions. Site still needs polish: clarifying services and specialties, defining the work process, deciding per-session vs. package pricing, improving overall architecture. No clients yet because I built a basic site while the channel was getting off the ground. Now that the channel is running, this becomes a refinement priority.
  • Books in development. Several projects: a novel and research work on topics I care about. They'll be announced on the channel as they publish, with purchase links in the description of each related video.
  • Patreon blog. Migrating hundreds of long, high-value articles to Patreon as a base of subscribable premium content.
  • Academy (main info-product in development). Membership academy with online courses and exclusive content, integrated into my site. Model loosely inspired by a community-of-courses membership with a growing catalog. Initial version planned: 10 courses on varied topics for X€/month, with exponential catalog growth. Courses will also be sold individually as standalone products.

The current problem:

Two days ago I applied to the YouTube Partner Program (YPP). Rejection came within 24 hours citing "reused content". This blocks pillar A entirely (AdSense, Members, Supers) until resolved.

I have two hypotheses for why the system flagged it:

Hypothesis 1: Duplicates on guest channels. Some interviews I produced are also published on the guests' own channels with my permission. In one specific case (my channel's most-viewed video, 41K), the guest uploaded his copy to his channel. Because I took a creative pause between January and May and unpublished those videos during that time, when I re-uploaded them from my backup my version now shows a later date than the guest's. YouTube's reviewer sees a duplicate on another channel with an earlier date and triggers the flag.

Hypothesis 2: The unpublish-and-reupload pattern itself. Even though I re-uploaded from my own backup, noting "Originally uploaded on (date)" in each description, YouTube may be detecting the recent mass-upload pattern as suspicious. A 10-month-old channel that launched content, pulled it during a creative pause, then re-uploaded in bulk from backup is exactly the profile automated systems scrutinize most, even when it's 100% legitimate.

I don't know which of the two hypotheses (or both combined) triggered the rejection. YouTube doesn't specify.

Options YouTube gives:

Path A: Video appeal (max 5 min, uploaded as unlisted). Deadline: August 20. Response in ~14 days. YouTube asks you to show your creative process and explain why the channel complies with the policies.

Path B: Modify the channel and re-apply from August 29.

Additional context on Path A: I asked the guest from the viral video to temporarily remove his copy while the process resolves. His reply was "please approach this differently." Meaning he won't remove it. I have to resolve this with the channel as-is.

Questions for the forum:
  1. Has anyone gone through a YPP rejection for "reused content" when the channel is 100% their own? If so, what actually worked to unblock it?
  2. Does the hypothesis that an "unpublish and re-upload your own content" pattern triggers the reused-content flag hold water? It's the one that worries me most because it affects more than one episode, not just the one that's also on a guest's channel.
  3. Beyond the video appeal, is it worth opening a parallel support ticket with YouTube or posting on the official YouTube community forum as reinforcement?
  4. Any operator with experience monetizing channels in non-mainstream verticals (esoteric, sovereignty, heterodox biohacking) have a read on how human reviewers behave with this kind of content? The suspicion is there may be a bias even if the stated reason is something else.
Any strategic read is welcome. Thanks.
