My name is Steve, and I live in Ottawa, Canada. I currently work as a mortgage advisor for one of Canada’s major banks.
Over the past few years, I’ve explored different paths to financial independence. I tried Amazon FBA, and while it was a valuable learning experience, my current focus is building a business in the health space, specifically gut health by developing and launching my own products.
As part of that journey, I’ve built a social media page focused on gut health, where I regularly share educational content about bloating, constipation, digestion, and overall gut wellness. The page has grown to a few thousand followers, and I’m now working on turning that audience into a real business through digital and, eventually, physical products.
That said, I’m also curious about the advantages of acquiring an established local service business as a way to accelerate my journey into the fast lane. The idea of owning a business with existing customers, recurring cash flow, and proven operations is appealing, and I’d love to hear from people who have gone down that path.
I appreciate any advice or insights you can share.
