Hello everyone!

Some of you may remember me from my door 2 door sales journal on here! In case you forgot (or never cared lol) I quit that industry because of how shady it is and because I really hate bugging people in their homes while they are trying to relax. While I didn't like it it did vastly improve my sales skills and give me some unique experience I'll carry forward.

I'm ready to give entrepreneurship another shot but have ran into a problem that's rather typical of me: my tendency to overthink!

I have several business ideas but am having trouble deciding on one. Frankly... it's driving me nuts! I just want to execute and get the ball rolling but my brain feels handcuffed by indecision and fear of picking the wrong one.

Business Idea #1: Mens dating and relationship coach specialising in helping men who are in troubled relationships.

This is the idea I'm most passionate about.

Pros:
  1. Im very passionate about this.
  2. Probably the "quickest" path to replacing my current income.
  3. Very cheap to start up.
  4. Already a recognized expert and have some name recognition on some mens dating forums. Nothing huge though.
Cons:
  1. Likely a strong upper limit to my earning potential. The biggest names in this space don't crack 7 figures a year usually. Not anymore.
  2. More and more people are replacing coaches with AI even if AI isn't currently up to to par with an experienced coach. I know people in the industry who has told me that AI is killing them.

Business Idea #2: Virtual conference/summit for another non-dating industry.

Other than the mens dating advice industry, I have a small presence in another niche that I'm also very passionate about. Years ago someone messaged a bunch of experts in this niche, had them all create a one hour video on a topic, and uploaded them all on the same day and created a "Virtual Summit." All the "presenters" marketed the event a couple months prior and sold tickets. Im not sure on the revenue split agreement. The event was a massive success but the guy who organized it went on to bigger things and no one has done it since.

Pros:
  1. The idea is already been validated.
  2. Wouldn't cost much to start up.
Cons:
  1. I don't have the following or name recognition the other guy had which would make it harder for me to get big name presenters.
  2. A yearly event at most and it's not likely I could make more than $70K from it.
  3. AI is also effecting this niche but not nearly as much as the dating advice niche.

Business Idea #3: A coffee company that targets the same niche as the last idea.

With this idea I would sell coffee, tea, energy drinks, etc under a brand that targets a very specific niche.

Pros:
  1. Im passionate about this.
  2. Very high income potential... eventually.
  3. Because of the niche I can spin this off into lots of other related ventures under the same brand in the future.
  4. I know the customer base EXTREMELY well.
  5. Already validated because several successful companies in this niche selling the same thing. I have a unique twist on the branding, messaging, and marketing that I believe will make me stand out in a positive way. Also, most people in this industry have horrible marketing skills.
Cons:
  1. High start up cost and little margins for a long time.
  2. Lots of competition which makes it harder to be successful even with my "unique twist" and better marketing skill.
  3. Highest chance for failure out of all my business ideas.

Business Idea #4: A lead gen business with a twist

Can't really say more about this one publicly (already had one business idea stolen last year and they are making $$$ on it) but its a lead gen business where I bring in leads for roofers, HVAC, etc. Unlike a standard marketing agency I have a very unique twist on this one. I shared this idea with an older man I know who sold two businesses years ago, both for several million dollars each, and he told me that my idea is extremely good.

Pros:
  1. Not a ton of competition the way I'm doing it.
  2. VERY high income potential.
  3. Low start up cost.
  4. AI resistant
Cons:
  1. For whatever reason I'm just not that passionate about it. I want to be because I feel this is my best idea with the best chance of both working and making a lot of money and it helps people at the same time. But unfortunately I'm having trouble getting excited by it.
  2. I don't know as much about the HOW to do this part. Been doing a lot of research on it and have no doubt I can do it though.

Business Idea #5: A discount club for wellness services (massage, spa, salon, gym, etc)

I found a unique way for people to get discounts to different "wellness" type services. My idea is to turn it into a free "club" for people. The customers would be the service owners who want to fill spots and/or sell memberships faster. I have a unique way of doing this that I haven't seen done. People get discounts, the service owners gets stuff sold faster.

Pros:

  1. Not much current competition but would not be hard for people to copy me once they see my "angle" that I'm using to make it unique.
  2. Very high income potential.
  3. AI resistant the way I would do it.
Cons:
  1. Very hard to market with a small budget
  2. would take a while to see decent revenue from this
  3. The marketing for this is "tricky" because of my approach to it.

I have like five more but I'm not going to type all of them out.

Point is, Im terrified of wasting time, money, and energy on the wrong one.

Any advice on how to pick one?
