I am almost done reading the Millionaire Fastlane , and oh my what a transformative book it is! That book brought me to this forum. Huge huge thank you MJ for your wisdom and for sharing it to the world, myself included!
I am currently on maternity leave. Here in the UK, we get 1 year of paid maternity leave. I feel so grateful to have this time off work to take care of my baby and still get a salary. This maternity leave brought me a lot of realisation. That realisation started when I was feeling the crunch of having so little pay. I realised I loved being away from work, having the liberty to spend my time as I please and not wake up with an alarm clock. I want to be wealthy so that I could be free! Before this, I thought I was content with being an employee, I was thankful for the security that my job gave me. But I know at the back of my mind I am not content with the money I make and my free time being dependent on when my job/boss would give it, I was basically living in the slowlane.
These past few months, I rediscovered my love for learning again, but this time my learning is focused on how to build wealth. I know I will get there. Right now, I feel like I just discovered a 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle and I found my first 2 jigsaw pieces that fit each other. Those jigsaw pieces is blogging for me. And to be a successful online entrepreneur is the completion of that jigsaw puzzle.
