I’m still trying to find myself, but I know where I’m headed

In the last 3 years, Ive had a few instances happen to me to greatly change the trajectory of my life. Was told by a self-anointed spiritual coach that I’m an “old soul”, I’ve made reading daily part of my morning routine which has turned my identity upside down, and I even and spent 45 minutes in a small town jail cell resulting in a fight to avoid drug charges. Can you guess what order those events happened in?

I have no special story like most of the people in this forum. I come from a very middle, middle class (divorced) set of parents, though my dads shoe-box excuse of a house doesn’t count for much. Fact of the matter is though, I could’ve had it way worse. Because of this, I’ve really had to teach myself how to think differently. I haven’t had some catastrophic life-altering event that forced me to hit the ground running with my entrepreneurial drive to make millions and change the world with my innovative ideas.

I’ve been told I’m different and have never fit in with my peers. Unscripted was the newest best book I’ve ever read and while I learned a lot, I also confirmed much about myself. I know I’m on the right path and this forum is just another stop on my journey. I wish to open the eyes of all of the lost souls I’ve interacted with throughout my life. I have no personal business ventures that I’ve had successful experiences with, but I’ve gained enough common sense to understand the ramifications of selling your soul to the 9-5 like everyone who is in my life who tells me to just “get a normal job” and stop throwing around all of these empty ideas. I’ve never had a hero to show me the way, so my heroes have been in the form of books and podcasts.
