Hi

Just finished the fastlane book in 2 days :) I was actually aware of all of it already but the book just summarised my failures :) I am in a slowlane wagon sometimes trying to get out but without much of success. I am in a web design / SEO business. I think I missed opportunities few times in the past. At least once when I built the most successful transportation portal website at the time in Poland (born there moved to the UK in 2004). Few other opportunities also missed in the UK later.

This website is still running many years after the initial success. Mainly visited by regulars and because of its age and content ranked well on Google. I'm just in the crossroads If I should invest my time and re-build it to a higher standard and make it better. The competition is much stronger now, more advanced. Is this still worth it? It's been almost 20 years since the website was last time improved/upgraded.

Hi @petersonpol, welcome to the forum. How long have you been in the web design/SEO business, and which one do you think is the best option for your career? Btw, I agree that the competition is very high at the moment, but in my opinion, as long as you're able to provide better services, values, and skills than your competitor (especially in your local area), it won't be so difficult to be hired.
