First of all.. I want to thank
@MJ DeMarco for giving unto us TMF and UnScripted . Both books gave me an understanding of what Entrepreneurship really is and led to a total mindset shift of creating value. (Finished Unscripted in 2 days, just couldn't put it down :playful:)
@Valier for his truly AMAZING Youtube videos that led me into getting a copy of UnScripted
And all the contributing members of this forum who showed us all what is possible in the fastlane,
@Envision 's One Year Thread,
@Andy Black who stresses giving above all else,
@Fox who showed the importance of sales skills in any industry,
@Lex DeVille for his copywriting threads,
And countless others for the golden nuggets...

Now, it's time for an introduction.
I just turned 16 around two months ago. It has been six months since I've read UnScripted and lurked the outside and read through countless gold threads.
And boy oh boy, the amount of mental masturbation, action fakes, illusions of productivity, and thinking "I will make it, just tommorow!" ,and just plain laziness to do just a bit of work got me caught up in a wierd, wierd rollercoaster. It feels like im having an 'entreprenerial' high from absorbing all the information and thinking that just doing that is enough to call it a day.

In other words, the past 6 months was horseshit.

So, what changed?

Yesterday, the closest friend my mom ever had just died suddenly. A month after her first stroke attack.
Today was the first time I saw my mom cried that hard.
She rarely did, always was the strong leading one in the family as she was raised an entrepreneur.

You drive thru the road of life once, and once only.
Her friend was also very successful and had loads of cash,
but now what?

It made me realize that our time here is short.. Really really short
And it is shorter for our parents, who sped thru the 40 years. Mostly working for us and not having time to enjoy the fruits of their own labor.
Now my goal is to show them the fruit. Better yet, feed it to them myself !!
Travelling have been their passion, and I will take them to every country in the world
That will be my goal!

Thanks for reading the long ramble of an Intro!
The purpose of finally posting on this forum is to hold myself accountable to my words and have something to look back to.
Plus sharing my journey so that others can learn too.. I will post an execution thread around next week.

I also hope that the one thing people take away from this is that life is a one way trip, you won't know when a loved one will suddenly crash and get taken away. Enjoy the trip to the fullest!

Time to watch death run limp from the Fastlane.

ps. Anyone with similar experiences/goals/journey mind sharing their insights?
Especially dealing with mental roadblocks such as laziness and taking the path of least resistance...
Thank You!

I think we all can relate to a point. The rat race is different for everybody. Most people try to get out of it. Some make it. Some don't. Some even never realize that they are living in a rat race.
You're lucky, you are still young. I had a similar moment around a year ago when something happened in my private life and I knew it can't go further like this. I'm also just 18 so I have plenty of time. But still, I'm putting every second I have into my dreams.

But amazing that you already live with that mindset at such an early stage. I have no idea about the Indonesian school system, so are you still in school? Or already chasing your dreams?

Hi @Kasimir, sorry for the late reply

I am in my last year of high school, and still under my parent's care. I will use this last year to build up my skills and my mindset until I'm free to step foot out there!

I'm interested in your Intro, I'll PM you
