"5G causes Covid19" is the propaganda, the story that Western govs are trying to frame around China.

On a side note.....

Give us the F*cking vaccine already, eugenicist Bill "Depopulation" Gates!!! Release the drugs, Melinda "NWO" Gates!

A brand new untested vaccine...? I think I'd rather take my chances against the virus...

So you support forcing a privately owned company to give a platform to paedophiles? What about their freedom to do business with and how they want to (within legal regulations)?

You also skipped over the whole point. Freedom of Speech is guaranteed by various governments around the world. David Icke's freedom of speech is not at all being limited at all. Do you see him being imprisoned or killed for expressing his views like in countries that don't have freedom of speech? Nope.

I don't see YouTube as being a human right.

there are """hate"" speech laws being enacted left and left. not acknowledging that there is an active attack on free speech by both governments and oligarchs is naive at best.

Freedom of speech: Say what you want, and be accountable for it. If you want to talk about total rubbish, you can. If you want to slander someone, you can... and you will get taken to court for slander.

Freedom of association: You get to choose who you do and do not want to be around. If you don't like what someone is saying in your home, you can tell them to leave.

This applies to corporations as well as individuals.

YouTube cannot censor anyone, all they are doing is exercising their freedom of association.

People have a weird "moral inversion", where freedoms seem to no longer apply once a person or company becomes XYZ big.
I agree with you in principle, but corporations are an interesting animal, as they are a mechanism to appeal to the state for shielding from liability. When you make a deal with the devil you have to be prepared for the possibility that he'll have some demands.

One of my favorite Rothbardisms is "A free society is a full liability society".

Here you go, they've actually dropped further down the list since I last looked... oh and it is a USA based organisation:

I'm not anti-US at all, I just am over some Americans (probably a vocal minority) thinking and preaching that they are the only free country in the world. They aren't, the list of truly free countries is actually quite long.

Freedom House is a partisan organization that has shady connections.

It's a bit more complicated than just "private-company"...etc. As it stands right now companies like Youtube are immune from certain problems because they are considered platforms and not publishers... When you are a publisher you are responsible for everything people post. As a platform you are not. Right-wingers are saying what they are saying because Youtube is acting as a Publisher while enjoying the legal protections of a platform.

As much as I dislike Icke, I think it’s bullshit that Facebook and YouTube block people like him and Alex Jones. It is a bunch of nonsense, but we also shouldn’t be censoring free speech. His whole lizard people conspiracies make it pretty difficult for me to believe anything that comes out of his mouth. If you don’t like what he has to say, don’t listen to it, period. There’s no reason to tell him he’s not allowed to say it.

As most people here seem to say: there are some interesting points to the interviews.
And I agree, you have to question everything.

But at the same time I can see how this type of messaging can be considered dangerous as it preys on those that need something to grasp onto in these times. And yes, gives a good feeling to be able to believe in something more than meets the eye. Something deeper (conspiracy) under the surface.

However the is also some "poison" in it, and I can see how it's dangerous that more gullible (or even less gullible) people would become convinced of some of these talking points.

A co-worker of mine (bright guy, sofware developer as well) has even tried to convince me to start watching these and he is "on the wagon". I would not have expected him to buy into this as much as he seemed to have.

And best example probably: here in the Netherlands at least a dozen fires have been stared the last few weeks at cellphone towers, seemingly in protest against 5G. It wouldn't surprise me if some of those events have been the direct result of London Real videos.

Anyway, I'm fully convinced this is all a political stunt for a takeover of all kinds. They want a restructuring of the economy and a communist take over. Don't be blind and ignore China.

China is now a "Technocracy" empowered by the "West". The game has changed, so it might be better to get with the "new" rules.

(Keep asking questions, it's the only way to be sure).

There are plenty of limitations on "free speech". It is illegal to yell fire when there isn't a fire, it is illegal to racially vilify someone in most "free" countries, it is illegal to get on TV (or YouTube for that matter) and outright lie about someone (hello slander / libel lawsuit). In many free countries it is illegal to deny the holocaust happened. You can't make false medical claims (which this would almost certainly fall under).

There are plenty more examples I could use, but that is enough to put a stop to the whole "freedom of speech is completely free or not at all" thought.

Nobody is putting him in jail for what he is saying, he is still more than welcome to use his own website to spread his ideas, he is more than welcome to tell anyone who will listen. So nobody has limited this guy's freedom of speech, they don't have to give him a platform though.

Then there is the fact that YouTube is a privately owned company. They own the platform, they can 100% say who gets to use it.

I 100% support the right of a privately owned company to pick and choose who gets to use their platforms... or are you saying that Youtube should be forced to allow all ideas? If so, lets take that to the logical conclusion, I mean to quote you: "if one person does not have the right to free speech, then no one has the right to free speech", so YouTube should allow paedophiles to express their views that paedophilia is ok? How about a video saying that all people of a certain race should be killed or are inferior? It is just their opinion! Lets have people release videos with classified information that will threaten national security.
It is so much about freedom of speech or Youtube a private company can choose what to censor.

It is a trend that, in the context of U.S. domestic politics, that the internet giants are censoring against anti-gov and anti-establishment conspiracies theories.

It is alarming because these are not typical hate speech or offensive content.

You don’t know if one day your business channel online crack a joke online about covit19 being a depopulation tool used by “elites”, then the next day your business gets kicked out by youtube.

The problem is people see he is wrong on something, then he is wrong on EVERYTHING.
And in reverse, people see he is right on something, so he must be right in REPILIANS DID IT... lol. It's not black and white.
PD:
I mean, if Bill Gates want to lower 15% of the world's population, it's because he loves us. Anybody who says otherwise should be censored for our own safety right ?
You can lower the earths population without killing anyone.

Icke is full of shit. He's one of those, make 26 predictions, talk about the 3 that came true.

Icke, Wilcock and Weinstein....

All 3 use overt persuasion techniques, first and foremost. Then they present what they claim are "facts." With very little to back their statements. It's all verbal tricks.
You know what the worst part is? Most of these people don't lie to the public, they lie to themselves. They just have a maladaptive method of differentiating Fact from Fiction and really believe the stuff they're spouting.

One of my favorite saying:

32714

I don't even think people like this are intentionally trying to mislead people. The truth is much more terrifying. And that's how easy it is to lie to ourselves.

If we take it person by person...

1. Icke fully believes what he's saying. He's had the psychedelic experience, and he's exposed to enough science to be dangerous. Similar to the spiritual gurus referencing quantum mechanics and negative ions.

2. Wilcock is full of crap. Period. He just comes off as disingenuous.

3. Weinstein is the most dangerous one. He's smart. Really smart. And he manipulates the conversation like no other. I'd get in trouble if I posted my thoughts on him. But if you recall we had a chat about Chris Langan. The supposedly highest IQ person on Earth, and his gibberish paper.

However, they both came to a similar conclusion. People cannot govern themselves. The difference is Weinstein is acting on it.

All that being said, here is my favorite quote, given the recent censoring by the Silicon Valley mafia...

"It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it." -Aristotle

You're not American are you?

Edit: Just checked and you're not American. Please don't comment on American freedoms if you're not from the states.
You do realize all those Western ideals you've been taught were "American" weren't really American right?

"Free Speech" came from Greece
"Democracy" came from France.

And since I'm ruining your day anyway - Apple Pie and Baseball aren't American either. Both were invented in the UK.

Despite what you've been told in 7th grade civics class, "Freedom" is not an American Invention.

Is American the Greatest Country in the World?

Weinstein?

But people with high IQs are often the most dangerous people on Earth. Education > IQ.

Studies find that people with high IQs are just better at using their IQs at finding evidence to support their confirmation biases. That is unless they actively make an effort to combat those biases.

IQ is the simply speed at which the brain processes information. IQ ≠ correctness.

Lol hardly ruined my day in fact you made me chuckle thinking you were gonna own me with your facts.

Obviously America didn't invent any of that. It wasn't even a country in 1775. The Constitution was signed in 1776 and the founding fathers didn't pop out thin air. They had to learn their ideals from somewhere.

But America does freedom better than any other country in the world.

"The French and Belgians have an ongoing dispute about where fries were invented, with both countries claiming ownership."

I remember when France wouldn't support us bombing whoever we wanted people started calling them "freedom fries" for a while. And I think Americans were also calling sauerkraut 'liberty cabbage' for a while too.

Sounds like something that originates in one of those boomer chain emails.

I'm not sure what people think we're free from exactly... you know, considering we're all locked in our homes like the rest of the world. America is a good country though.

But back to the topic at hand, yea there are some really bizarre Conspiracy theories surrounding this stuff. The British Psychological Association had a really good article about it.

For example, the myth that C0VlD-19 is less dangerous than the seasonal flu was deployed by US president Donald Trump as justification for delaying mitigation policies.

The recent downgrading of C0VlD-19 death projections, which reveal the success of social-distancing policies, has been falsely used to justify premature relaxing of social distancing measures. This is the logical equivalent of throwing away your umbrella in a rainstorm because it’s kept you dry until then.

The new conspiracy theory that blames C0VlD-19 on the 5G broadband system is one of the most bizarre pieces of misinformation.

Some to the more Bizarre ones:
  • 5G causes C0VlD-19 (or weakens the immune system allowing COVID to flourish)
  • The virus is a bioweapon
  • After mitigation efforts reduced the death toll a few people thought this was due to "epidemiologists were wrong"
  • The US military released COVID into China
  • A number of really bizarre ones surrounding Bill Gates

Weird Al wrote a really good song about this:

You Tube have now kicked David Icke off for good, as Facebook did a few days ago, is he a wack job that needs to be censored for continuing to talk rubbish, or is he onto something? Why is he being censored now, and not when he was saying Lizards run the world or denying the holocaust?

Or maybe we can call it: development.

About the whole conspiracy fantasia:

Mark Manson pretty much nailed it in this article.

Go talk to a couple of government officials and spend a few months in a corporate hierarchy. You will quickly see that they could hardly organize a children’s parade, much less build network towers that beam viruses into people around the globe simultaneously.

Actually theres this sociological effect where people in better health decide to have less children.

Average health by nation:

Screen Shot 2020-05-04 at 6.36.18 PM.png

Children born per woman:

children-born-per-woman.png

It's an evolutionary adaptation. If you child is more likely to die, women have to make more to compensate for the ones who won't make it. Interestingly enough, a woman becomes more fertile her children are les likely to survive.

Screen Shot 2020-05-04 at 6.37.50 PM.png

It's really fascinating. That's why poor people have more kids than the wealthy. A decent amount of them end up dead or in jail.

So when Bill Gates talks about solving overpopulation he's talking about improving world health to mitigate those effects.

View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=obRG-2jurz0

But of course when the foil-hats hear Bill Gates talking about the overpopulation problem they think he want's to sterilize people with his evil population control vaccinations.
