Found this video on Youtube. I think it contains several potential fastlane methods (and a few slowlane). But I think it may be pretty valuable for those looking for some ideas on which way to get started.

Figured I would share it.

Cheers!

That could be useful, I'm looking for something that can make at least £400/mo within 1-2 months so I can start living again

Just my two cents, but if you are in a dire situation, I would likely look for a job that can pay the basics for the short term, while you look into a side gig or spend some time to figure out what value you can bring to people. Working a job might be a good place to find ways to help out a company or an industry.

There's nothing wrong with working a job, just don't forget about pushing yourself forward towards your goal in your spare time (don't waste valuable time.)

I agree. Been looking since end of Nov, I'm applying for jobs but I still have hours of free time I may as well fill with a hustle as I don't have cash to do things anyway

Here is one more:

16. Sheer the sheep
- Compile lists of mostly useless advice taken out of context from books or other places
- Create cool graphics and sprinkle them into a video
- Pay a lady with a sexy voice to narrate the video
- Dont forget to mention big names and add images of millionaires and billionaires, the richer and more famous, the better
- Promote affiliate links, your blog, your other videos, social media, products etc.
- Profit

You forgot one:

- Add outrageously inaccurate bit of legal advice that will lead to loss of intellectual property rights for anyone who takes you seriously

Hey if people find value in it, who am I to stop you?

I agree the presentation is a bit cringe, (especially how there's too much focus on the money aspect of it, rather than the value you bring to people.)

Still some good ideas for some people brainstorming ideas on which angle to start a business, even if it sounds like mental masterbation.

I wish you good luck my dude.

You can look at it this way, job searching is great practice for hustling. Its a great way to work on selling yourself and looking for opportunities. Being an employee is like a mini version of a business. This is because alot of the components of building a successful business and getting hired are similar. The important core aspects is that you have something of value to offer someone (this dosen't change between a client or an employer.) and the other aspect is being able to communicate that value (selling yourself.)

Working on charisma is also a criminally underrated skill, job hunting forces you to work on Charisma, even if the pressure to get hired makes it diffcult

I get what you're saying. In my case though I actually have to sell less of myself. Yesterday I spoke to an agency and they basically wrote off all my experience as they were like 'yeah this won't do you any favours' as I've only ever worked for myself up until now, and they're low paid jobs so they don't care if you're independent I guess!

Got to say, being overqualified is something I've had some experience with. Sometimes you just got to keep at it and find someone who can understand the value you bring better. Maybe there is a different angle you can sell yourself? You might be focusing too hard on your strong suits that your potential employer dosen't care about.

I'm no expert on your situation, but just some food for thought.

Cheers!

That is a valid and constructive way to look at employment.

Wow, the patent advice in that video was exceptionally bad. I liked some of the ideas to make money.

Their video gets right to the point and is extremely interesting.

Best I've seen in a long time. Solid.

I've subscribed to their channel.

Youtube is POWERFUL.

It is many things. It can catapult your bank account, brand build, Infotain.

But like everywhere I guess there are also alot of Mentally Unstable People on Youtube giving out advice. Add Dangerous to the Mix.

For example...there was guy praising God for his Miracle genius cure for his back pain from a disc on his spine. His advice was to jam your back into a bathroom door frame. I kid you not.

Another guy was advising to drop chemical peel acid around your eyes to cure cholesterol deposits imagine how many people at home playing with acid on their faces.

There are real videos of guys climbing skyscrapers for a Selfie and falling to their Deaths. Amazing. YouTube.

*What I do love about Youtube is that Yahoo and Google had Billions and all the resources to create a Youtube..but a couple of Entrepreneurs like us took it upon themselves to create it and got bought out for Billions.
