Hey guys,
I am new at this great forum and I read in the last weeks a lot of you guys. I have an "idea" with what kind of business I want to start but this business requires capital (fashion business). Before I start I just want to understand how is the process do understand if the market demands the product. As I understood from "Unscripted " the way should look like following:
1. Before fill paper work and found a company develop the product or prototype (in my case it's physical)
2. Proof the prototype at the market
(3. Improve Product)
4. Lunch and start
Question 1: What is the best way to proof the product? Do I should have one piece of them and show it to friends? Do I go to retailers and ask them if the would distribute my product in their stores? What is the best way to proof the product in the market? How can I understand if the prototype is good enough or if it needs improvements?
Question 2: Further I have an imagination how my product could look like. My target Group should be young people who wear trendy clothes. But on the other hand the forum talks about find needs and improve things. When I research the market there are so many businesses outside who are doing similar things. Is this a barrier or do are their opportunities to jump into the market and create a new brand?
Best regards to all
