So I've slowlaned in this field for a couple of years. I want to emerge my medical knowledge into a business somehow.

Of course the most raditional way is to open up a private clinic, but this violates the scale commandment (unless you have a shit ton of capital to work with), and also violates time.

The ideal would be something internet-based, but I don't really want my face or name to be plastered somewhere, lest the business takes a downturn and takes your reputation with you.

Another problem is, online disallows any soft of physical contact with the patient which is so integral to medicine.

Just wondering if anyone has any ideas, or maybe know someone who has successfully done something like this?

(Selling 'supplements' don't count, because, take it from me, supplements are as big a scam as the get-rich gurus). There, that's one of my first contributions to the forum ;)

What if you did open a private clinic but staffed it with touchscreens and vending machines?

A patient could stop by, tap the screen a couple times to report their symptoms and then an AI attendant would evaluate the symptoms and deliver a measured dosage of medicine or material (with instructions).

Naturally you could flag the more off the wall reports like "I need oxy because my knee hurts" and then have a Nurse (maybe CNA even??) review the chart and then a partnered physician (like a GP or something) could stamp for approval or reject it - forcing them to see their PCP for further assistance.

Nice idea. The automation thing won't allow for any physical examination though. If it wasn't important, the idea could even be run on the web.

I've seen service sites where a network of doctors do housecalls for hangovers or referral networking.

hmm... if physical examination is critical you could charge referral fees to local doctors right from the automated system allowing a patient to book a time for a local PCP for further evaluation.

Naturally the goal is to be free from the time for money equation right?

Could create a kiosk or something...
