What's up everyone?

My name is Adrian Smith, fairly new to the forum. I joined the forum a couple months ago but I never posted anything until now because I wasn't taking it serious, I would just get on the forum and read from the sidelines. I was attending Brightwood College (Formerly called Kaplan) for their vocational nursing program. I was getting good grades I had a 4.0 gpa I was really working hard. On December 5th a few days ago I received an email from the CEO of Brightwood College saying that due to financial circumstances the school will be shutting down and closing permanently!!! I was upset because I worked so hard and paid money that I won't get back!!!

Now that I think about it, I believe all of this happened for a reason, it's that F**k this event that MJ discussed in the millionaire fastlane . Now Im all in with building a business because I dont want to feel helpless like when my school hung me out to dry. I want to make sure my daughter's dont ever have to go through this.

So now Im all in with creating and providing value for my market and I will document my journey here on the forum to help others succeed. Right now I am in the process of creating a 3D cartoon show for elementary school aged kids to teach the basics like reading and arithmetic, that will eventually become a household name. Im learning a software called Blender im totally new at all of this but I feel the need to help my family because I know that the government or any educational institutions wont help.

I apologize for the long winded rant. I just ask that you fellow forum members please share your wisdom with me. Im wondering should I continue to learn the 3D software Blender or should I spend my time learning copywriting or something else. All answers are appreciated and thank you MJ for your great forum and awesome books that I have read and still read over again.

I never discussed the FTE in TMF , it was introduced in Unscripted . ;)

Welcome aboard my friend.

Any plans to go through with nursing?

Wow it's truly an honor that you responded to my post right away thank you MJ, and my bad for the mix up with Unscripted and the Millionaire Fastlane . As far as nursing goes I had a change of heart, plus I figure I can spend that time working on building a business and not have that $35,000 tuition bill to worry about. What do you think?

If you are creating a hit cartoon show, then concentrate on writing the scripts and leave the animation up to someone else. I imagine you are confident it will be a hit because of the teaching techniques right?

Therefore that is the most important part of your plan.

Blender is a serious bit of kit, and even if you have motion graphics experience, the learning curve is steep, very, very steep.

Much better to write the script, then find someone who can animate (on whatever software) and get some samples out there and try and sell it to schools.

Thank you for the great advice. I would imagine that if I just focused on the script it will be alot quicker to get my stuff out to the market and kick on a feedback loop. I will look around for animators then when I get to that part
