Hi, everyone~ I have bought the Millionaire Fastlane .. hmm can't really remember, maybe in 2012 or 2013... but couldn't really read carefully, so this was sent to the second-hand bookstore.
I mean that's was just my problem.
And now 2018, still financially desperate 'Unscripted ' appealed to me, that I bought it months ago, and around one month ago finally started to read it bit by bit every day, and why can I read this book so easy whereas it wasn't with the former book?
I read the half of the book, and I like the author's cynical, funny, and appealing messages.
I feel like falling down and down and down, left alone in this world. Yes, so far I have failed to live independently... Everything is a mess. As a college lecturer, I am fed up with getting every semester hours to lecture which is so hard and the profs just abuse you.
I do hope that I will create my may to be financially free.

You could create courses online. Make courses for udemy or make a website about the topic you like to teach.

I wrote them both, not sure why TMF was hard, but Unscripted was easy. I've improved as a writer since the time TMF was written, but I can't believe that was the difference you perceived.

I'm Greek and read TMF without a problem - in fact, I loved it. In these cases, the main problem is that people don't concentrate properly when reading. I have a dog barking in the distance, plus my neighbor is fighting with his wife as I write this. If you don't make a conscious effort to concentrate when reading, even a comic book will be hard.

I take notes when I read. Keeps my brain more engaged. I do it on both fiction and non-fiction

Nice one.
You can also follow the lines of the text with a pencil/pen and even try to explain to someone what you've just read. this turbo-charges the understanding of whatever your read

Yes. I always talk to someone about the book that I've read.
