The bank blew up today, and I thought some of y'all might enjoy the balls of this aspiring entrepreneur.

We have an email distribution list that encompasses every single employee in the company, just a measly 250,000 employees. Pretty much the only person that uses it/should use it is Jamie, for messages that the whole bank needs to see.

Well today, an associate (very low on the corporate hierarchy) used the email box as a farewell message, letting the whole firm, know that he was leaving to commit 100% of his efforts to his company. In the bottom of his email, he gave his business a nice plug:

Definitely a big corporate no-no, but damn, this dude probably just got 100,000+ hits to his website, given everyone has been talking about it today. And I bet he even got some clients out of it...

Hilarious, and also incredibly ballsy. But hey, he's quitting the corporate world to pursue his business...so we have to give him some props here.

Super-sized gumption indeed. True guerrilla marketing. I just wonder if the bank now has grounds to sue him.

No idea, its funny because he was a "Compliance Associate" so I'm sure he knew what he did was completely against compliance, but maybe he just said f* it, its my last day anyways.
