hello everyone. it has taken quite a lot for me overcome the fear of asking for help and doing whats necessary so this is my first step.
My Idea? well its nothing new really but its something i have thought about a lot lately. starting a clothing line. one of the ways i found how to do this is contact manufactueres in chine and get samples etc. some of them even offer to print whatever logo you provide them and how you want it.
i know and i am prepared for the failures to come and the hard work needed and also how there is soo much competition. i have a bit of research on this and it appears that along with a good product, marketing the brand is probably one of the most important things. (one thing i love about apple)
i plan to use social media especially instagram and also have a website but i was thinking to use social media to my advantage. i have a brand name and design (not quite satisfied with the design). i will not treat people like idiots and say my goal isn't money because we all want money however i want to achieve some more... i want to build a trusted brand over a period of time.
i also plan on starting small with like t-shirts and maybe hats and see how it goes ultimately expanding with time.
so if any of you pro's and non pro's have some useful advice on how about to about this please i would appreciate it. please be as critic as you want to be. mistakes are inevitable as i venture into foreign concept to me but i would like to keep them to a minimum with your help. thanks a lot
