I'm not sure Ryan will be back after I told him to stop spamming the board with his "Subscribe now!" and blog link.

But in the case he does return...

This seems to be the accepted practice nowadays... I'm going to get rich blogging about getting rich. I'm going to become an expert in X,Y and Z talking about X,Y, and Z.

The fact that you've come in here guns blazing with multiple posts (many of which I had to delete) tells me you really don't know anything building a business, a blog, or anything other than what you read from a book.

The "I'm an expert because I say I'm an expert" doesn't work around here.
The "I'm going to get rich talking about getting rich" doesn't work around here.
The "great post, subscribe to my blog" doesn't work around here.

As for your blog, I actually thought it was pretty good. I thought you write well. And I don't mind the simplistic presentation. However after reading multiple posts, it seems to me you are just parroting stuff you heard from other books. While that isn't bad necessarily, it is always nice to have them woven into your own experience.

To give you an example, you mention compound interest as a wealth tool and then proceed to show Tim Sykes and his rockstar lifestyle. Tim Sykes living a rockstar lifestyle has NOTHING TO DO with compound interest. Likewise, I didn't get to retire 30+ years early because of COMPOUND interest. You're confusing cause and affect, a post hoc fallacy that someone who enjoys such lifestyle somehow has tapped into compound interest. The reality is nothing of the sort. Explosive income is what creates an incredible lifestyle, not the mainstream tales of mediocrity that Slowlane pontificators want you to believe.

And if you'd like to know why many folks here are riding your skirt, you should probably read the book upon which this forum is based. It will open your eyes, if you're eyes are ready to be opened. But usually someone needs to walk through the FIRE first to know that it's hot. That's whats happening here. It's getting hot.

I want to apologize for yesterday. I didn't handle myself or my business professionally whatsoever. I appreciate the advice MJ. I think you may have confused the Sykes article with another one, but I completely understand what you're saying. I can agree that my lack of experience can be misconstrued as "parroting" and with that being said I'm going to direct my focus towards more experience so I can give better advice and what not. I'm 350 pages into The Millionaire Fastlane and I've enjoyed every page, I'll finish it today.
