I've really enjoyed reading a bunch of the Forums on this site and LOVE all the helpful insight and networking.
Quick introduction- I live with my family in Chicago, IL and have been in the franchising industry and a small business owner for over a decade. I'm a franchise consultant, which means I help aspiring entrepreneurs find the best fit for business ownership. I, myself, do not sell anything, but I work as a "match maker" to help guide my candidate through a discovery process. Before you start thinking of the typical McDonalds, Dunkin, etc franchise concepts, I work with a portfolio through a company called FranChoice, where we have hand picked the top 200+ brands (out of the 4000 available concepts in the US today) and they span many different industries. Think of franchising as "a business in a box" and it comes with a Leadership team and an operational playbook to expedite your success.
