Moneydoc from what my eyes have seen away from the computer screen . Money is like alcohol, it can make you more of what you already are.I have seen rich people being lying bastards which thought they were to good for Jesus Christ and I have seen rich people who are good leaders, humble,respectful and will teach if We give a damb to learn. Many of the good kind are here in the forums. I won't go into details but I started in 2007 looking for a way out of poverty in 2020 it manifested a lot of jagged road in-between . I got away from the computer went to networking events , did sales door -to-door, was in a JV the point is I was meeting people and getting the tough lessons outside my comfort zone. I said that to validate the fact. I know what I am saying. You, sir are a good man, you paid your dues and are respected for that. But not every person who has money is like that.

Went to another party tonight -- hoping to just talk to people.
Deeply disappointed. Liberty and freedom is nowhere to be found.

Was supposed to be an all-inclusive party -- beginning with a pride parade. Turns out that I was the only brown person in a party of 100 or so, every single F*cking person was white. No Asians, no blacks either. Overpaid the bartender, polite to everyone, overpaid for the tickets, nothing matters. Can't change the color of your skin.

Inclusiveness my a$$.

Only to have put in years of blood and sweat in hope of liberty. Inclusiveness, acceptance, fairness -- buzzwords to be printed on toilet paper.

hey teenage and early 20s fastlaners - here's a tip for you:

You think that your lives are WAY more dramatic than they really are.

That breakup that you're still whining over? You'll forget them in a few years, or as soon as you date someone hotter.

The embarrassment over spending hundred / thousands / tens of thousands on a business venture? You'll forget about that when you find a venture that succeeds.

Getting fired from a job, getting fired by a client, etc - you will laugh about this in a few months because there are always more jobs, more clients, and more opportunities.

The main reason that any of this seems so intense is simply because you lack experience with it. When you go through this stuff (good and bad) again and again, it impacts you less and less.

And what is the point of this rant? The point is to relentlessly charge towards your goals regardless of how you feel. You'll find out later that your feelings are often annoying distractions from your goals at best and absolute saboteurs at worst.

Don't get caught up in feeling good or bad - the only thing that matters is constantly executing toward your long term goals.

I reported them but I couldn't choose that they impersonate a public figure because your profile wasn't searchable there (I assume because it's not verified). So the only option I could choose is "someone I know" and then I couldn't give more details.

Fancy that, it arrives at the buyers and it is missing the most expensive piece, the 5oz coin.

I usually put writing on tape and seal it on the seams, but it has been so long since I have sold anything that I completely forgot. The buyer describes the package as being different than how I shipped it. So did the post office open it and steal a coin?????

I am not sure what to do at this point. I am in a bad spot and having this happen feels like being kicked when down. Not happy.

I think your buyer opened it up and then taped it back together.

A random person wouldn’t know which coin was the most expensive.

We should hear everyone's perspective. I didn't know he was doing this for patreon. The issue here was not about socialism or capitalism, the issue was about the dishonesty these people spray. Even they got their initial investments from family or else they say they got there by themselves giving people false objectives.
As sir MJ said we should be honest to customers but these people aren't honest to their own workers.
I am not saying they never worked hard, sure they did. But selling people dreams that they can be billionaire on their own(without any intial investment) or being honest.

Strict vegans who can digest meat and dairy products without any problem should consider the fact that the protein (9 essential amino acids) that we get from animal based food is far better and balanced than plant based (unless u want to eat shit ton of it, but still the amino acid balance is not present). One fact mentioned in it is(i dont back it, survey does) is 49% American are protein deficit (for my country its way to heigh something like 70%).

I think there are some issues with wording here which I've bolded in the quote above (I'm not vegan by the way).

Plant-based protein is the same composition wise (22 amino acids) as animal protein. The ratio might be different. Plant-based proteins are mostly incomplete and require you to supplement with different sources of protein. However, I don't think the statement "the protein we get from animal based food is far superior than plant-based food" holds merit. Protein is protein. Like I said, composition is the same, ratios might be different. So the only real superiority, if you even want to call it that, is that a chicken breast is considered a complete protein, whereas a plant-based meal might require you to eat some nuts on the side as well. Is that really a big deal though to crown animal protein as "superior"?

You're also forgetting the saturated fats in animal protein unless you're eating a very lean cut of meat such as chicken breast. Several studies from reputable journals have shown that plant-based proteins do in fact decrease risks of cardiovascular disease for the very reason I just mentioned - saturated fats in animal protein.

Again, I'm not vegan nor am I well versed in plant-based diets, but I did want to just point out why superiority might not be accurate in this case.

Maybe @MJ DeMarco can chime in as he's gotten protein from both animal sources, and now strictly plant-based sources and I'm sure he's not suddenly 60lbs with full body muscle dystrophy.

In living in a high tech city (I'm not in high tech myself) I'm seeing that all the glitz and glamour of working at a high tech Amazon, Google, Salesforce etc. with the 250k salary of your dreams, and all the benefits you could ask for will never cover up the fact that happiness comes from autonomy, not a high salary.
