That's a lot of reading - I think you'd learn more by just doing something.

So with that I see Millionaire Fastlane on your list, I'd say read that one once a quarter (4x this year) alone while trying to start a business/side-hustle.

Wasn't expecting to find the great wall of China -eh sorry I mean great wall of books here.

I'd say definitely read TMF . Maybe Dale Carnegie as well.

But the rest? Only read as you go on and need.

Read this thread: NOTABLE! - What if you already know enough?

What's the goal? Or are you reading for enjoyment only?
How much time will you devote to this? Do you take notes?

Instead of cover-to-cover reading, I suggest you use the books as a library. You start with a real life problem, like, "How can I design a sales funnel this week that accomplishes X and Y?", then you search in the books for techniques that will help you.

Reading (actually listening on Audible during work) "Influence" now. Great book. Although I am still in the last third, it already helps me revamp my sales and make them more smooth. I`d recommend to merge it with Fiverr guide to making a gig. The ideas they give there on Fiverr are hugelly applicable to native ads on every platform and "Influence" give you a more academic and thoughtful approach.

As for the others - I`d listen to all the other people above - walking and stumbling beats reading "Advanced walking strategies in 107 easy steps".

Also, all MJ`s books are great, but if I had to pick one - Unscripted would be it. I like it`s more depth than one of MFL.

Great list.

But reading isn’t doing.

You can read 100 books on swimming and it won’t make you a Michael Phelps.

What action are you taking?

May I recommend you start with this book and apply what you learn to all the other books!

This way the knowledge and ideas can mingle and create new concepts applicable in real life.

Best of luck.

PS Reading just for the sake of reading 52 books a year is plain action faking. You feel productive but you aren’t.

It's just that im currently a High School student, before you say that doesn't matter and whatnot I dont think starting a project that requires 100$ to start will lead me to success. That's why im investing my current time to learn.

In that case (where you are still in school and not willing to start a business/side hustle yet) instead I would recommend focus on equipping yourself for after. Identify an occupation that has knowledge barriers but not capital (money) or regulative (laws/certifications/degrees required) barriers. Then pour your time into studying that specific skill that will increase your earning potential.

Because if you think through this path even if you read 2000 books on running/starting businesses before high school is over you will still have to get a job in the meantime and will still go through time adjusting/building self-confidence to just try something.

I commend your motivation, and if you are choosing between playing video games or reading obviously reading would be better.

But I’ll leave you with this, I have a chess book collection of nearly 700 books and have loved the game since childhood. I am a strongish player ( missed getting my expert rating by a handful of points) but my 12 year old by playing and doing drills on chess.com is now better than me.

Read MJ’s books and if you only have a $100 read “The $100 Startup.”
