I told my friend that a website needs to:
A) exist
B) get traffic.

Beautiful web design is not nearly as important as those two points.

His reply, "You're right. Anyone can make a good looking site. The barrier to entry is low."

While he agreed with me, I think he missed my point.

A good looking site without traffic will NOT make your client money.

A bad looking site on the top spot of Google will make your client £1000s of pounds per month.

A prospect once told me "I don't care if it looks good. Just get my phone to ring."
