Just curious as to what people have done that they consider a real once in a lifetime adventure or experience. I consider myself extremely lucky in the things life has handed me out of the blue.
We drove over 3000 miles through Mexico in 04. Stayed 4 weeks in Puerto Vallarta. It really gave me a new impression of the Mexican culture.
On our wedding night we got married at my wife's uncle's house in North Dallas. We didn't have much money as we were paying for most of it ourselves. About 9:30 the neighbor behind their house pulled into the driveway. I heard what I thought was a hot rod. Her uncle went over and introduced me. Turns out the lady that drove up was in a Dodge Viper. As I was looking at it and oogling over it she asked if I wanted to take my new bride for a ride in it. The look on my face must have been priceless. I took her for about a 10 minute ride and just loved every minute of it. Really cool way to start a marriage! Screw the new breadmaker I got to drive a Viper.
I have one more but will wait to tell it. I want to see what other "Lucky people" have run across.
