Hey fellow hustlers,
I'm a psychologist and developed and scientifically validated an approach to build new useful habits for my PhD: "Psychometric Habit Building". The basic idea is that habits can be built like mental assets with certain attributes (e.g. automaticity of the behavior). By measuring and giving feedback on these attributes, one can see how this mental asset grows or detect problems in habit forming more easily.
I developed an iPhone-app for this (taught myself coding for this using - you guessed it - habits). It helps defining new habits and measures habit attributes. It's like a car's board computer: You need to drive yourself, but get useful info about the journey. I already posted the study results here.
A polished, new version of the app has made it into the AppStore already (Grow - Habit Builder). You can find more info about the app on this page.
I just soft launched the app without a list and without any marketing. Now, I would like to get some feedback by people interested in trying this approach and would love to collect some reviews in the AppStore, of course, to boost ranking.
For your valuable feedback, I would like to offer you a mini-habit coaching via skype (30-60 minutes), in which we would define a habit for you to build with the app. Of course, we can discuss other issues where motivational psychology might be of use for you.
If that sounds like an interesting offer for you, feel free to dm me and we will figure out an appointment.
Thx in advance for your support.
Keep up the good work
Marco
