I am starting my own e-commerce where I will be selling Indonesian tea in 25g and 100g bags.
The payment process will be done via pay-pal, direct account transfert or credit card.
Today, I've spoke with a former import/export guy and him talking about the whole customs and shipping process really confused me... I plan on shipping small packages in enveloppes, with orders varying from 20$ to 200$... How do I proceed? Do I need assurance? Do I need to deal with freight forwarders?
I am aware I can't get a full-on explanation on here on how to ship small packages from Canada to the rest of the world, but could anyone point me any direction on where I could learn such things.
Also, as I am starting really small and don't have a lot of cashdown, do I still need an import/export license since I buy in bulk and sell in smaller packages?
