On my site, proudbike.com, I have a tab for posting news/blog entries. I brought up the idea to the developer of implementing wordpress for this tab. By doing this, there would be extra time and money spent in creating a custom template to match the site. Now I'm thinking about the tab redirecting users to a separate page (ex. twowheelblog.com, or whatever domain I choose) that uses wordpress. This way it is not necessarily imperative to have a matching design.
What would any significant disadvantages be by doing this?
