I've recently come across a need in the clothing industry which I thought hadn't been filled with good opportunities to scale. There's quite a few websites/articles with a community discussing this issue, so I thought I was on to something.
I played with the idea of delivering this via e-commerce and selling the clothing through an online store, however I've had a little look into the volume of searches over as a guide to how many people are actually searching for a solution and I'm a bit confused.
My question is, how reliable is the "average monthly searches" on keyword planner? An example below of a search term which may be used for a similar niche.
This is for the whole world, obviously when searching in a specific country the results are much lower. Can it really be the case that there's only a combined search of around 300 a month for those terms??
The volume data for searching youtube data seems realistic though..
Am I doing something stupidly wrong? I thought I was on to a good idea, but seeing the search results in my specific niche has made me really doubtful..
