I am in San Marcos so it didn't affect me. But now we create a smaller, dui/do avoidance app that only runs at peak hours, make sure all the drivers are background and checked out, own the cars out right like zip car, run the app using block chain just like uber, shrink the drive force to 100 people, pay everyone like w9 employees, and sell it as a safety net, not a taxi company.
using a similar app interface, chain block, and a flat rate of 10 dollars if its before last call. 25 if it is after. This is the biggest and most honest perk of uber at least I have seen driving for them. Strip the fat. give it a catchy title. Yoursoberride and make its sole purpose to avoid the drunk tank.
UBER being gone is going to make sixth street and other bar avenues absolutely shit shows. Total mayhem. People have gotten used to uber as your ride at the end of the night. They have been around since 2012 I believe.
