Turning Any Brand Into A Merchant/Dropshipper! Is This Possible?

First off, I appreciate you for even showing interest in the thread.

Let's skip the veggies and get straight to the dessert...

This is my question, and then I'll go into a little more detail:

Is it possible to be an affiliate, or to dropship, for ANY brand or store? Here's what I mean...

Let's say I have found a bad a$$ online store. I love what they have to offer, and know that others would too. I decide that I want to add their products to my online store. Let's also say that I already have a small social media audience that caters to the kind of the products that this store offers.

Obviously I might be able to make a little bit of money with this, but here's the problem...

This store is just an individual brand. They don't sell on amazon or anything like that. I have emailed them with something to the degree of " I would love to sell your product for you and make both of us more money". But I realized that I backed myself into a corner when he asked "We're very interested, what do you have in mind?" because I was hoping that they had something in mind! Lol since they are the merchant.

My question is what can I do in this situation? Is there a software/program or something that me or them can implement for me to get percentages of sales? Or one that does something similar for dropshipping? Or is it just impossible until they setup an affiliate type program for their products?
