Ready to triple it again. And in fact, I have very little education. I quit high-school at the age of 17 and later acquired a GED with the thought of going to college. Having no idea what I wanted to major in, I opted to work various jobs (nightclub/strip bouncer, HVAC, manufacturing) before becoming a police officer at the age of 30. Loved the job but not the pay ($36,000yr). After a few years in and after seeing guys that had been there for close to 20 years making $19.00 hr, I started seeking a better salary. In short, I had been working part-time with the US Marshals and had a secret clearance. I applied for a job (took a chance) that required a top secret clearance. While obviously not qualified, I won over the person on the phone and they offered to sponsor me for the clearance. It took a year but I was able to leave the police department with 6 years in and started working for a certain three letter unit making $50,000. An avid reader of Napoleon Hill, I knew that once I had my foot in the door, I would be on my way to making more. I had made six figures a goal and while working this new position, I would write- I will make $100,000 a year over and over on a piece of paper each day. After a year in this position, I was contacted about another position within the same building that not only gave me a bump in my clearance level but led to me making just over that $100,000. I'm now looking to triple this amount again and do so by way of the fast lane. I've got a lot of ambition but seriously lacking in the networking and mentoring department. My passion (for 24 years now) is fitness and I specialize in nutrition. I've got a few articles published and a book called 'Tactical Nutrition' (for law enforcement and special operations) currently being edited. I'll be diving into MJ's To Do list. If there's a way I can bring any value to the forum by giving nutrition or training advice, I'd be happy to do so.
