I own a domain. It's kinda similar to a widely known and very famous website.
Their name is a combination of 2 words. My domain also has the same 2 words, but has a third word inserted between them. I don't plan to compete with them in the same industry, as they are too big. I would do something different, but some aspects of my site might be similar.
Example:
big company has a domain of microsoft.com
My domain is microscopesoft.com, and I might be selling or writing software for microscopes.
Another example: Big company is myspace.com
my domain is mywebspace.com, and my business might be providing people with thier own websites.
