I was at my friend's daughter's birthday and me and him had a little chat.

Hes the general manager at a bank. He asked me how much money i have invested and where. I said around $300k in VTSAX and $100k in crypto.

Then he asked how much i wasnt investing. I said $600k and he said i could take half of that "talk to a financial advisor, it doesnt have to be me" and that I could get 7% or 10% i think he said returns annually split between "stocks and equities" and i could basically live off it.

Wouldn't that be the same as me going through an online broker and just picking out a fund? Or is there some secret sauce that they do for more aggressive returns?
