Hello my fellow Fastlaners,

As a product contractor with an entrepreneurial spirit, I’ve often struggled with the unpredictability of contract work and the challenge of scaling After months of reflecting on my next steps, I’ve decided to start Unscripted, an agency aimed at helping founders and SMEs to scale, as my mid-term (3-5 years) challenge before moving into a Fastlane career.


Unscripted offers:

• A low-ticket offer: A high-quality branding and landing page package designed to be a no-brainer for scale-ups.
• A high-ticket offer: A flexible design retainer service that can be paused or cancelled anytime.

The site was officially launched last Monday, and my goal is to secure my first three clients low-ticket clients within the first month.

Starting today, I’m focusing on content marketing through LinkedIn and X, and I’ve been actively networking over the past three weeks. So far, I’ve had one intro call last week and have another scheduled for this Friday.

I got into this business because I have worked as a product contractor for 6 years, and working as a contractor just wasn't letting me scale. I wanted to create a package that would enable real growth.

The landing pages and websites I provide are strategically driven and designed to get results. It's not just about throwing together a template; it's about delivering something that truly works for non-tech founders and scaleups who need more than just a basic website.

I use these services as a low-ticket offer to get into the market and then upsell clients to design subscriptions once we've built a relationship. This approach can lead to recurring revenue, which is key for sustainable growth.

But I'm still tweaking my offer and figuring out the best market segment. At first, I thought startups would be my main clients, but I found they usually don't need my services until they've been around for a couple of years and are profitable.

I'm also hitting a bit of a roadblock. Since last year, I haven't been able to build professional relationships like I used to, especially during interviews. I used to nail these opportunities, but now I feel like I've lost my touch. Working as a contractor and living abroad for over 15 years, I have minimal support, and I'm feeling burnt out. I've had a few serious prospects in the last couple of months, but I've lost them, and I'm trying to figure out how to get past this. My goal is to get three clients within three weeks. I'm pushing through, but I think I really need some support.

Any advice would be appreciated.
