I sell a few information products on Clickbank. I like the passive aspect of selling information products online, especially once you get a working website that functions as a sales system for you.
My new baby is Conversion Prophet (note: I'm not an affiliate, just a fan - you can find it by doing a Google search). It is a relatively cheap way to test and track your sales campaigns. It has a Taguchi multivariate testing feature, which is why I bought it.
Using Taguchi testing, I have a sales page that I've gotten up to about 3% conversions. This was through split-testing headlines, videos, and sales copy.
If you have a website and you're not testing conversions, shame on you! I was like that for far too long.
If you don't want to pay the price tag for Conversion Prophet (probably around $150, but I don't remember), you can always use Google's Website Optimizer along with Google Analytics. It does basic split-testing as well as multivariate testing (not Taguchi style, though).
Google has videos on how to set it all up, so even if you're not a techie, you've got no excuse. One catch - Website Optimizer uses Javascript instead of PHP for tracking, so it may not work if your visitors are using AdBlock or similar Javascript blocking plugins.
Also, you can use Website Optimizer with WordPress with the right plugin (not sure what it's called, but do a plugin search in WordPress and use the top-rated plugin).

I'm getting ready to start a PPC campaign for my best product, and testing will come in handy for that. I'm a little nervous about getting started with PPC, so I may ask y'all for advice.
Lastly, can I just say that the best email in the world is the notification that you've sold another info product...with no additional effort...and with no additional time required on your part?
