I want to start a really interesting topic here. In order to do such, I am curious to here about your opinions on what would you do? (WWYD) I kept this very short so we can get more ideas from all perspectives.

I believe we all could agree the newspaper business is dying. As more and more people get their news from multiple other sources such as google, twitter, Facebook, YouTube, etc.. Major media companies that own multinational newspapers do not necessarily have a readership problem but rather a revenue problem. So here's the question of the day:

If you were the CEO of a media company that was in charge of a load of newspapers distribution across the country, how would you ensure a safe transition from Print to digital. How would you create a compensation structure for your digital sales reps? How would you develop the digital business model? Would it be a freemium model? How would you stack everything and ensure your still making money on print? Or are these media companies just doomed to fail? Explain to me exactly what you would do.

I have my own thoughts on doing this, but I would love to hear yours first :)
