I began my Fastlane journey around a year ago when I invented a patent pending indestructible water pipe found at SteeleConcept.com. As a result I have had many interactions with owners of headshops and others in the "industry." I soon found out I love interacting with people in this industry. Business grew and I joined forces with another company called Transformer Tubes. We now have product all over the United States and some international retail/sales as well.
I've always been a nerd at heart and up to date with the latest hardware and gadgetry. As a fan of gardening I have used LED grow lights in the past and after much research identified the best product/technology out there. As time went on I noticed that hydroponic shops rarely carried LED grow lights because many wantrapreneurs have pushed inferior product and inflate claims about core coverage and yield. I saw an opportunity...
You see in the hydroponic industry nearly everyone utilizes HID (High Intensity Discharge) lighting, primarily HPS or High Pressure sodium. These lights run very hot and consume a lot of energy in the form of electricity. The heat must be managed with extra fans or AC - thereby using even more electricity! Moreover the bulbs contain heavy metals and must be replaced every 6 months or so.
The bottom line is that LED's make life easier for the indoor gardener. They are the future. I have multiple medical marijuana patients from states with progressive legislation who have put the light through the paces and are impressed with the results. I will be supporting my local dealers while primarily focusing on my eCommerce site which can be found at:
